woodhurst_logo1.jpg  Kevin Bailey  – Managing Director

Kevin Bailey has been in bricklaying since leaving school at the age of 16 years old.  Kevin went to Tottenham College and achieved a City & Guilds in Bricklaying to advanced craft levels.  He became a brickwork contractor in 1985 as an apprentice with John Langs and from there he started Town & Country Brickwork Ltd where he was a director for 12 years.  Town & Country carried out many top contracts examples being, Arsenal Stadium North Bank, Staines Police Station, Margate & Lewisham Hospitals, A12-M11 link, New terminal at Luton Airport to name just a few.  In 2002 Kevin set up Woodhurst Construction which he is still a director of and he continues to be very much at the helm of the company driving forward its continued expansion.

Outside of work, Kevin’s hobbies include being a keen Tottenham Fan and a boxing coach.  Kevin also has a passion for horse racing and has been a very successful owner enjoying many occasions in the Winners Enclosure worldwide.

 Jake studied at The Hertfield Regional College obtaining HVQ Levels 1, 2 and 3 before entering the family business as Plant & Logistics Manager.

Jake is also very keen on boxing and has a love of travelling to foreign places.

Neal is a Reading University Graduate with a BSC Honours Degree.   Neal is currently training to gain a RICS Accreditation and has over 8 years experience predominately in the main contract sector.

Outside of work, Neil is an avid football fan and a keen golfer.

    Terry Porter – Contracts Manager

Terry started his career as a bricklayer over 30 years ago.   The latter 20 years as a foreman and now takes the role of Contracts Manager for Woodhurst Construction.

Terry is also a keen golfer when away from the site.

woodhurst_logo1.jpg Michelle Folley – PA, Marketing, Sponsorship, Hospitality and Accounts.

Michelle trained as a PA at St Aldates, Oxford and worked in London for a number of years before returning to her home town near Northampton where she set up an agricultural company covering the Midlands.   Having sold the company a couple of years ago Michelle now works on a part time basis for Woodhurst Construction Ltd.

When not in the office Michelle is also very keen on horse racing and will regularly be found on race tracks around the country.

 Mick – Head of Security / Debt Collection

Mick, the Rotweiler, visited us on a temporary basis whilst looking to be rehomed, however, we decided he was too much an important part of the yard to leave us.
